The first place MALE finisher in the 10k run will receive a $1000 gift certificate from Blazer for Men (www.BlazerForMen.com) The first place FEMALE finisher in the 10k run will receive a similar value prize TBD. EVERY 10k finisher will receive a unique Mercedes-Benz finishing medal after they cross the finish line! AWARDS: 10k Run:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female in the following age groups only ("age category awards"): Under 40, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60+ AGE CATEGORY AWARDS will not be presented during the Awards Ceremony - rather results will be posted in the Athlete's Village and the respective winners are asked to go to the "Awards Table" where you will be presented with your age category award. HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE for the top 3 finishers (must be currently enrolled as high school students): A Trophy will be given to the High School with the top 3 finishing times in the race... why this is important is that InField Marketing (race organizers) will donate $500 to the United Way of Oakville on behalf of the winning school! So bring out your students, win a trophy, AND help the United Way! APPLEBY ALUMNI CUP CHALLENGE: the top male and female Alumni finishing times will win the 'cup' challenge and earn their place in Appleby history (or at least their names on a trophy to be kept at the school). RANDOM DRAW PRIZES: Random draw prizes for finishers of the 10k run & 10k power walk will be presented during the Awards Ceremony. You must be in attendance to win. THE GRAND PRIZE: Gabrielle Warcop of Oakville completed the 10k run last year and her efforts certainly paid off. She was randomly selected as the recipient of a brand new Mercedes-Benz B-Class! Needless to say, she was overjoyed and is still loving her car! To win the Grand Prize you do not have to be first across the finish line. A 1-year lease of a Mercedes-Benz B-Class, from Mercedes-Benz Oakville Autohaus, will be awarded by random draw to any 10k finisher! Only those 10k finishers who are 25 years of age or older on race day will be eligible to win the Grand Prize. You must be in attendance at the Awards Ceremony to win.
