Mercedes Benz 10k Race Website

Registration for all events still permitted on Race Day in the Appleby arena between 6:45am and 7:45am.

We may have kit bags and T-shirts left to provide but no guarantee on race morning.

Kids in the Junior Jog and Toddler Trot must check in at the table for the Junior Jog and Toddler Trot to pick up their race bib & pins.  Finishers of both events will receive a special ribbon.

Please be sure to check the weather the morning of the race at www.weathernetwork.ca to ensure you’re prepared for race day conditions.  We recommend you dress warmly for before and after the race and bring a bag to check your warm clothes in so you’ll have those clothes immediately after. You won’t enjoy the food and atmosphere and big draw prize program outside if you’re cold.

When to pick-up your ChampionChip: You can pick up your chip at any of the kit pick-up times and locations. On race day, chip pick-up will be located in the arena and open from 6:45 am - 8:00 am (7:45 is when the Opening Ceremonies commence).

SportStats will provide timing and results for the 10k and 5K events. You must have a chip in order to have a recorded time. NO CHIP = NO TIME, no exceptions. Please note that all timing chips/bands must be returned immediately following the event or there is a $50 charge for a chip not returned. Only 10k and 5k runners and power walkers will be chip timed.

Fill out the back of your RACE BIB! Please complete the back of your bib - this provides important contact, emergency and medical information (just in case). And it has a cool offer from sponsors.

Portable toilets: There will be lots of portable toilets, each with a hand sanitizer, located in the Athlete's Village area beside the arena at Appleby College. In addition, there will be two portable toilets at the 3.5k aid station and two at the 7k station. Limited washroom access will be available in the arena so plan to use the portable toilet facilities (each of which will have a hand sanitizer).

There is a BAGGAGE CHECK inside the arena at Appleby College on race day. Please check your bag 20-30 minutes before the race, not later or you’ll encounter lineups. Your race bib will have a baggage check tag to affix to your bag. A small donation of $2.00 to the Oakville Community Foundation would be appreciated to check your bag so please remember to bring a toonie.
