At the post-race celebration, medals and prizes – including the grand prize Mercedes giveaway – will be awarded in the athletes’ village. Awards will also be given to the three fastest male and female participants in the race and power walk events.

The 10k run and 10k power walk are limited to 1,500 participants total and registration spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.”

Race Charity

The race’s official charitable partner is the United Way of Oakville.  "United Way of Oakville is thrilled to be a recipient of funds raised during the Mercedes-Benz Oakville 10k," notes Barbara Burton, CEO of the United Way of Oakville. "In these hard economic times, corporate philanthropy is more important than ever and the Mercedes-Benz 10k is certainly setting a stellar example of social responsibility."
